How to solve the problem of full-color LED display
1. A small black screen appears on the screen, and it is displayed normally in other locations
This situation may be due to poor cable connection, loose cable or broken cable. The solution is to see if the cable in the black part behind the screen is loose. If it is loose, just plug it in again. If the screen is still black, just replace the original cable with the new cable.
2. A black screen of about 40cm-1m appears on the screen, and other places are displayed normally
Regardless of whether it is an indoor LED display or an outdoor LED display, modules are used to connect the cables. In addition to the long cables, the cables are also used to connect the boxes. Generally, a black screen of about 30cm-1m appears on the LED display screen, either a long cable failure or a network cable failure. The solution is to check whether the long cable and the network cable are loose. If it is not loose, you can choose to replace the long cable and the network cable to eliminate the fault.
3. The indoor LED display and outdoor LED display cannot communicate or load
Generally speaking, the reasons why the communication between the indoor LED display and the outdoor LED display cannot be on or cannot be loaded are as follows.
3.1 Check whether the serial port cable is damaged, or whether the two ends of the serial port are loose or falling off. If there is any damage, just replace the new cable in the string. If it is loose or comes off, just plug it in again. Generally speaking, the serial port connection cable refers to the network cable and the power supply signal, and the network cable is also called the signal cable.
3.2 Make sure that the control system hardware is properly powered on, the LED module power supply is 5V, and the LED drive power supply is 5V40A or 5V60A.
3.3 Check whether the route cap is loose or falling off. If there is no such phenomenon, check whether the direction of the jumper cap is correct.
3.4 Check whether the control software installed on the indoor LED display and outdoor LED display computer and the control card used in the screen are of the same brand and model. If yes, check the transmission mode, serial port number, and serial transmission rate. If it is correct, set the address bit and serial transmission rate on the hardware of the control system according to the DIP switch diagram in the software.
3.5 The serial cable connected to the controller is a straight-through cable. Check whether the connection is a crossover cable. If it is a crossover line, please change to a straight line.
3.6 If there is no problem after checking all the above steps, and the screen is still unable to communicate or load, then you need to use an external device for measurement. For example, a multimeter, use a multimeter to measure whether the interface connected to the power supply or the control system hardware is damaged.
4. The indoor LED display and outdoor LED display have a black screen
The whole screen black screen appears on the indoor LED display and outdoor LED display. It may be a black screen when starting work, or a black screen after working for a period of time, or a black screen during work, or during loading Black screen, or black screen after sending the program.
4.1 Check that all hardware devices, including computers and control systems, are properly powered on. The screen is generally connected with a + 5V power supply. If the connection is wrong or reversed, the screen will not light up and a black screen will appear.
4.2 Check whether the HUB board connected to the full-color LED display and the main control card is tightly connected or not. However, this possibility is very small. After all, as the speed of LED display screen replacement is getting faster and faster, nowadays LED display screens produced by LED display manufacturers rarely use HUB boards. Generally, the LED display is directly connected to the sending card and the receiving card.
4.3 If a black screen appears during loading, the signal transmission may be interrupted due to the loose communication cable during communication, so a black screen phenomenon may occur. The solution is to check whether the serial cable connected to the controller is loose or falling off. If this phenomenon occurs, plug the serial cable tightly.
5. When the LED display is just powered on, there is a short bright line or the screen becomes discolored
The voltage we normally make is 220V, and the voltage of the LED display module is 5V, so the module cannot be directly connected to the voltage of 220V. When the screen controller, LED module, computer, sending card and receiving card are connected, the controller needs to provide + 5V power to make the screen work normally.
Therefore, when the full-color LED electronic display is powered on, a bright line or "flower screen" phenomenon will appear on the screen for a few seconds. This bright line or "flower screen" is a normal test phenomenon to remind the user that the screen will start to work normally. After 2 seconds, this phenomenon will be eliminated automatically, and the screen will enter the normal working state.
6. The unit board is not bright or dark
6.1 Measure the power supply of the power supply module. If the power supply is too low, you need to make fine adjustments near the indicator light of the power supply module to make the voltage reach the standard.
6.2 Check whether the 16P cable and the power module indicator between the power cable and the unit board are normal.
6.3 Use a multimeter to measure whether the module voltage is normal. If it is normal, you need to check whether the output of the module power supply voltage is normal. If it is not normal, it is determined that the power module is damaged and needs to be returned to the factory for repair.
7. Black dots appear on the screen
The reason for the black dots on the LED electronic display may be that the LED lamp beads are soldered or dead, and the module is directly removed and sent back to the LED display manufacturer for repair.
